Lots of hype around the Canik and Taran Tactical Innovations gun, the Combat. Moor me it shoots really well but is just too uncomfortable.

Not the smoothest install video but wanted to show you more of what it actually looks like when installing a geissele trigger. I also show how to remove the stock trigger and replace with the newer style.

There is a more correct way to do this, but this definitely gets you installed and ready to fire.

If I use a Vortex Defender CCW, can it sit flush on the slide? Are the locking lugs on the Hellcat large enough? They look small.
Need some tanerite!
Hi there! Any problems with failure to feed or failure to fire? I to purchased one of these the last few days of April and - I'm disappointed that I had to send it back for work immediately. Respond when you get a chance and I'm glad to follow up with you. Thank you so much!
Yeah, I had 3. My very first shot was failure to eject, then 20 or so rounds later I had a failure to fire. Around 150 rounds I had another failure to fire.
@@1ModernDayDad - that's terrible to hear. I'm going to capture the series of episodes with it, along with the follow up from Century Arms and will likely sell it to jump to something more dependable. I REALLY wanted to like it but you can't have a great gun that shoots well - when it decides to shoot.
For sure. I shot the rival for the first time today and that shot flawlessly. Hoping that stays reliable!
The only thing ive taken outa the box is nice (the tti)
This is so corny. Bad clickbait to watch your probably bad longer video hell no
Yeah. The long video is pretty bad. 😂
Metal or plastic trigger?
It’s a metal trigger. Tested it with a magnet and it stuck to it 😂
@@1ModernDayDad Thanks for responding.
Get some goon tape for the grip works great
Good choice. The Hellcats are an excellent deal and beat comparable Glocks out of the box, especially with the gear up package. What kind of holster do you use and I've heard the trigger is a bit on the heavy side? Btw, esthetics are not petty at all.
I use the tier 1 axis elite holster. The trigger is a little heavy. But not terrible considering it’s a concealed weapon. Not worried about a competition trigger on it.
Short and sweet. Great video, thank you.
On my Hellcat Pro the back right screw hole appears to have a spring at the bottom of the hole? Not sure I want to screw a screw in there and damage the spring? Not sure it I will get an answer here?
yeah im wondering this too because im bout to get my hellcat soon and i want to know bout that spring and stuff i bought the mounting plate and soon buy the holosun....no other video has talkef about that spring
Interesting. I do remember seeing that, but didn’t have any issues when putting the optic screws in there. So, I’m no gunsmith but mine worked flawlessly with the optic in place. 🤷🏼
THE FIRST IDIOT CHANNEL TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS GUN 😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒
Love, love, love my Dagger compact. More accurate with it than most of my guns. It is concealable enough too. But like you I prefer my hellcat pro for edc/ccw.
Dagger compact is on my list of ones to buy. Hard to beat the price and I’ve heard lots of positive things on it!
I’m so glad smell a vision is not a thing yet!
😂😂
They smell so badddd but works great
For sure. It’s pretty awful. We just bought a bunch more so we can swap them out more often.
They works really well, but will stink up the room it's in!
Yeah, thankfully this one is outside but it definitely smells!
Here’s the link but you can find it from Home Depot too: amzn.to/3KREuKG If the link doesn’t work try the video description. It’s also posted there!
Nice set up. Just picked up my Hellcat pro for my ccw. Trying to decide between the tlr7a or tlr7 sub.
The sub seems to be a little more common as far as holsters go. Not sure there is much difference in the lights, but I’d take a look at holster options to see if one you like requires a specific light.
@@1ModernDayDad good call on checking what holsters work with which lights. Looking at tier 1 holster. Can’t wait to get it all pieced together.
I got a bunch of lint and stuff behind the vents on the back of the dryer drum. I took middle screws out of drum thinking it would come out and I could clean behind it but o boy I was wrong. Now I can't get the screws to line back up with the pully now I'm here lol
That’s a tough spot to be! Best of luck.
I jave the tti combat as well and love it but I'm a bit concerned with the barrel lock up. Question is when you grab the comp and wiggle it does your barrel move?
I heard to change the guide rod on it the one that comes installed from factory is not adécuate for self defense ammo haven’t tried it yet myself but it’s a concern for me to…
Jesus Christ bless me with American dollars 🙏
I have been looking into one of these My understanding is that we’re suppose to remove the little detent tab that normally holds the recoil spring in place, per JP Is that correct? Have you had any issues leaving that in? Thank you!
I read the same but I left mine in and i haven’t had any issues with it. Makes it much easier if you leave it in! Fired about 150 rounds through it and it was flawless.
@@1ModernDayDad thanks brother appreciate it 🤙🏻
I bet he has a hard time finding a woman or man.
😂😂😂😂
Very nice ❤🎉
Sand paper high grit, or a Dremel.
I thought about the dremel. Can’t imagine it would hurt the optic.
Everyone in the comments lol
You didn’t check before you brought it?
Pro tip if you’re going to spend a thousand dollars on a pistol it could not be a canik
Better off with a glock, that looks terrible
Canik is a division of century arms, honestly you can’t expect much
Not true.
@@xxfire07 it literally says… on the slide… “a division of century arms” so I can tell you’ve never shot one😭😭
@@harrywolf825 I own 3 Caniks including the TTI Combat. What you don’t understand is that Century Arms is just the current importer of Canik fire Arms. That doesn’t make Canik a division of Century Arms. U.S. law requires all foreign made guns that are imported into the country have the importer’s company name engraved on the gun. Caniks are made in Turkey and Caniks doesn’t own a Company in the USA so they can’t engrave their own name on the gun like some companies do. This does not make Canik a division of Century Arms. Century Arms has imported many guns from different overseas companies and they had to engrave their name on all of them. Some times the same gun is brought into the country by different import companies (during different years) and the same make and model gun will have a different importer’s name on them. So please, don’t get all keyboard ninja like with your comments when you don’t know what you are talking about.
@@xxfire07 which also makes them the dealer, what are you arguing here?
@@harrywolf825 I made my position clear. What don’t you understand. Canik is the manufacturer, Century Arms is the importer, the company that buys guns in bulk and sells to the stores is the distributor and the gun store that you purchase the gun from is the dealer. All of these businesses can be completely separate or have exclusive contracts with one or more company is the supply chain. As I said before, Canik is not a division of Century Arms simply because Century Arms has a contract to be the distribution of Canik firearms. Reading is fundamental
if it came in a carbord box you wouldnt be crying like a kid
Trade it in and buy yourself a new purse ma’am!
doesn't give you high hopes for the quality of the gun itself.
Should've just bought a regular canik

You paid $1,000 for a gun and you think it should come with every little thing. Next time I recommend you buy a Taurus it won't come with everything but at least then you won't bitch about the price.

Thank you sir for mentioning the suitable accessories for this beautiful pistol 😍. Will TLR8 fit?
sweet gun
Was there a mounting plate, or does the optic mount directly to the slide?
Directly on to the slide
